HIP HOP is appropriate for both boys/girls who would like to learn the latest urban dance steps influenced by some of todays hottest video choreographers! Focus is placed on proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized dance steps and full-bodied combinations. Dancers will love learning these expressive dance steps while dancing to their favorite songs in an age appropriate manner.

Hip Hop ROUTINES
Students will learn 8 count dance routines typically performed by cheerleaders and dance teams to the latest "tween" music!

Hip Hop FUNK
This class will focus on the more current pop video styles of music and movement (age appropriate) with a splash of pop jazz technique.

Hip Hop URBAN
In this HIGH ENERGY class, students will learn routines that replicate a style of street dancing to the latest R & B and Pop music. Movement includes elements of popping, locking, footwork and freezing. Freestyle will be incorporated to allow students to explore and develop their own sense of style and movement. All music and content will be age-appropriate.

Attire: Comfortable clothing that you can move in such as a T-shirt and shorts or pants and black jazz sneakers. NO denim shorts or jeans allowed. Hair must be neatly pulled back.
