Indy Dance Academy is a great place to grow as a dancer in all aspects. Our daughter Lauren started dancing only 4 years ago and wanted to jump in full throttle. The IDA directors, staff and instructors embraced and encouraged her to go for it. In four short years Lauren was invited to be part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre and Dance program as a dance major at Ball State University thanks to the encouragement she received at IDA and the support of the talented instructors. Her comment after her auditions was that although there were instructors that were very hard on her at IDA, she owed them a big thank you for teaching her what she needed to know!

My daughter is 5 years old and has attended IDA since she was 2 ½ years old. We have had such a positive experience. The teachers are so caring a warm and really teach young children the fundamentals of dance. We love IDA.

Kira has fallen in love with dance under the direction of such wonderful instructors who personally know and care about her. Indy Dance Academy provides dance education with a balance of fun with high expectations that allows students to experience success as dancers, but also learn that hard work is necessary to gain success.

Dancing at Indy Dance Academy is so rewarding. The instructors don’t just want you to develop your technique and learn steps, but they want you to develop who you are as a dancer. My experience has helped me define both my confidence and my personality, and I honestly believe that I could only have achieved what I have now at this studio.

Both of our daughters have made lifelong friends and as dance parents, we’ve bonded with the other dance families as well. Our family adores the staff and instructors at IDA and are so appreciative of them as strong role models in our girls’ lives. Luckily, I found Indy Dance Academy offered classes to adults that were challenging enough to make me feel like I was getting a great workout and kept me in shape. I was able to keep dancing through my first pregnancy and now have a little tiny student of my own in classes at IDA. I love that I can now share my passion for dancing with my daughter and the teachers at IDA are fantastic. The dance program at IDA also creates leaders, IDA encourages girls and boys alike to reach for their dreams and potential and they leave the door open to allow the dancer to grow at the pace they desire. In four short years Lauren was invited to be part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre and Dance program as a dance major at Ball State University thanks to the encouragement she received at IDA and the support of the talented instructors. She auditioned with a lot of very talented dancers and her encouragement, skills and growth at IDA paved her way. The joy as a parent is to watch your child grow and develop each year and most importantly see the joy in her heart as she dances.
